2021 Gallery
On September 18th the “Hooks for Heroes” event was held. It was a great success. The day started with a 5:00 a.m. breakfast, followed by fishing from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Then, we had a fantastic land event with presentations, music, food, drinks, and raffles.

On June 26th, the Halloween Yacht Club and Hooks for Heroes Connecticut took 14 disabled Veterans and Purple Heart recipients fishing for the day. This event was supported by the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Stamford Chapter 13 (who provided transportation).
The event was no-frills fishing . . . go fishing, have fun, have more fun, have lunch, and go home.
All the participating Veterans and Captains had a wonderful time. The fishing was great, and a variety of fish were caught. Some went out for striped bass and bluefish, and some went for bottom fish. Everyone caught a few!
